(PRESS RELEASE) -- Cummins Allison, the leading innovator of currency, ticket and check processing technology, as well as ATMs, today announced that its JetScan MPX 8200 multi-pocket currency sorter now straps all six U.S. denominations in one pass. In addition, the JetScan MPX 8200 is now available for purchase in Canada.
The new six-strapper functionality increases the capabilities of Cummins Allison’s most advanced high-volume sorter. It allows customers to reduce post-processing work from rejects and increase efficiency in soft count rooms, all for less than half the price of its competitors. This offers customers an unprecedented blend of high productivity and excellent value.
“Customers are pleased to now have a choice when looking for multi-pocket sorter solutions to strap all six denominations,” said Frank Janezic, executive vice president, Cummins Allison. “Some customers like to strap all denominations for security and efficiency purposes, while others have fewer strapping needs. With Cummins Allison, customers get what they want: a high-quality solution that's a great value, regardless of the number of strappers they need.”
