Gentingbet Shutting Down!

Just received this from Genting Bet.

Regrettably, Genting Malta Limited (T/A GentingBet) has taken the decision to close all licensed operations with effect from 23 August 2021. Genting Malta Limited (T/A GentingBet) will cease trading its sportsbook on 16 August and its online casino on 23 August 2021.

Since GentingBet will not be trading from that date and cannot generate revenue for you thereafter, we are closing our affiliate scheme to new registrations from today 9 July 2021. Any Commission due to be paid to existing Affiliates will be done in the month immediately following business closure. Following that final payment cycle we confirm that all engagements will cease in accordance with 12.2.16 or our Affiliate Terms and Conditions (business closure).

We urge you to remove any marketing materials you may be hosting on site by 15 July 2021 as the welcome bonuses will expire shortly thereafter.

I didn't get an email either. They will be hard pressed to have affiliates stop promoting them by the 15th, if they don't tell them...or maybe that's the idea.

Not one of the reputable affiliate programs out there and I doubt anyone will miss them.

Not a popular opinion but I always had a good experience with their program and the staff they had working, used to do good things with them a few years ago

Being relaunched as GentingCasino next month with SkillOnNet according to EGR. Of course they will port over a lot of the existing player base and we will all lose those accounts.

Will anyone be stupid enough to promote them again? Probably.

We promoted EGO (https://www.egamingonline.com) for many years without earning a single penny from any of their (SkillOnNet) brands, and we will not go further by promoting GentingCasino at this time.

They probably just bought the trademark to put it at their crappy white label. EGO is one of the worst convertors here. Also retention seems to be very bad.

That's not very surprising. Their casinos have a poor CS, poor terms, slow withdrawals, low RTPs, etc.
